Follow these five easy steps and transfer your domain name to Vantage absolutely risk-free. You'll extend your existing registration for an additional year and you will not lose any time you've already paid for. And now, if your transfer fails for any reason, we'll refund your fee, no questions asked. You will not lose any time you've already paid for.
Transferring a domain name requires cooperation from three parties: you, your former registrar, and Vantage Internet Services. Don't worry – your part is easy.
All you have to do is confirm with your former registrar that you do in fact want to transfer the name(s) to us. We'll send you an email with instructions on how to do just that. Our part is to work with your former registrar to make sure the transfer gets done quickly and accurately. This takes communication, paperwork and time (usually about 5 working days). Most important, it takes an honest willingness on the part of your former registrar to get the transfer done. Unfortunately, some registrars would rather keep your money a little while longer than provide you with this legally required service.
In the past, the transfer fee we charged was non-refundable for just this reason: we'd do all the work required of us, only to see the transfer fail through no fault of ours. To you, our customer, it really doesn't matter where the fault lies, though: You paid your money, you expect the transfer to occur. So we've made your transfers risk free and fully refundable. If your transfer to Vantage Internet Services fails for any reason, we'll let you know and refund your money. It's simple as that.
